Beiste grew up in a wind clan known for their prowess in the arena and joined the crowd of dragons fighting there upon his maturity as was custom in that clan. In his first ever match he managed to beat his much more experienced opponent and established himself. Beiste rose quickly in the ranks of fighters and became famous for his precise fighting style and brisk demeanour.

Throughout his years of battling for money and fame in the ring he became steadily more incensed with the treatment he and his fellow fighters received.

Eventually, in protest, he left the arena for good and joined a group that fought for better facilities for dragons that lived in the warrior quarters of the arena.

In this group, Beiste's interest in being a blacksmith was kindled. Many different dragons floated in and out of the organisation and it was Kadere that introduced him to the art originally. Over time, he himself left the movement and traveled to the Ashfall Waste with Kadere. Beiste contracted an apprenticeship with a blacksmith contact of Kadere's and learned everything he could from the dragon. Beiste finished up his training and, with his now mate, left to look for a clan who would take them in and use their new skills.

Now, Beiste produces the main source of Aduantas' profit: beautiful pieces of weaponry and armor, little baubles and brooches. Working with Cruthanta, the two ensure that everything produced is of the highest quality and perfect in appearance. Beiste is still gruff and tactile but enjoys spending time with the clan's younglings and teaching those interested in how to mold molten metal. He's a major voice within Aduantas, dissuading those who wish to become arena warriors and instead encouraging them to become fighters for the clan, and actively promoting every dragon to take a helping hand approach to life.
