Windwhisper

Windwhisper was born to Understory and Canopy as a hatchling whose eyes could not focus and who bore two bony nubs on the top of his head. Fearing this to be a mutation of the disease that Ironys was studying, they did not want their son to be experimented on. They cast him out into the Shrieking Wilds, where he learned to survive from observing centaurs. The beastclan knew he was there, but believed him to be a faun, a magical being whose displeasure would result in bad fortune for their tribe. They left offerings: furs, food, even small gems.

Windwhisper learned to survive on his own, as well as how to medically treat small wounds and illnesses. Though he is mostly blind, he is able to pick up on changes in energy, which he can read to vaguely discern the past. When the old seer for Clan Swallowtail died, Windwhisper returned to his birth clan, too old for Ironys's experiments, and took up her position. Although he lives in Seer's old cave with the ice sheet she used to divine, he finds it too cold and often sleeps outside the clan boundaries, in the trees.

He is distinctly pagan, and secretly rejects the idea of sentient waterfalls.
