The Lightning representative
The position of Temple Overseer is one of great imporance. The great Shrine of the Stormcatcher with it's Lightning switches is the place of the Gate Of Exaltation. Hatchling Sacrifice: the Lightning Priest shocks the switch to the Element of the clan, opening the portal to the gods' territory. the Hatchlings exalted to not count for dominance because they become messengers, builders, slaves, and other things for the god. Sending a Warrior: the Lightning priest shocks the switch to what ever element the dragon is dedicated to, opening a portal to that gods' territory. the dragon will then fight for the god, and rarely return. Elders Ceremony: a dragon becomes too old to go on. the lightning priest will shock the switch to whatever eliment they would spend the Last Days in. Last Days will be celebrated for 3 days and morned by for 2 days (representing the five days it takes for an egg to hatch) then the Lightning Priest blesses the Elderly dragon with a fast end.
