Nakht. The firstborn of Ghiaccia Defendant and her Charge, Alran Steadfast. The only Guardian of her nest. The only survivor.
Nakht was raised in secret after the raid on her nest by enemies of Ghiaccia, twisted dragons who wished to destroy the budding clan. In desperation for her last hatchling's life, Ghiaccia gave her over to the care of Sterling, the clan's Silver Springbok.

She grew up in darkness, and learned an appreciation of the beauty of the still, quiet shade of night and deep caves. She learned how to be silent, how to spy on others, how to become a statue so no one ever noticed her. The rest of the clan is afraid of her. She unnerves them, makes their skin crawl. Even after her return to the clan, she retreated deeper and deeper into the shadows. She has no Ward that she can find, and no urge to find one. No dragon nests with her twice. Her children grow up in the same darkness, and become similar shadows, silent defenders of the clan.

And so here she is. Still. Silent. If you see her, she's gone.

Nakht is the firstborn of Ghiaccia, and will likely someday take over rule of the clan. Many fear that day, when an unknown, shadowy stranger shall command them. Nakht would rule as fairly as she knows, but her knowlage is the knowlage of survival, shadows and darkness. Most would not agree with her rule.
