Alran Steadfast

Alran was born from a lost Water egg in a Shadow clan. He disliked it there, and left as soon as he was full grown, fleeing the scathing looks and joking comments. For a long time, he wandered. Until one day, in the midst of the Cloudsong, he saw a clan of dragons crossing the ocean. They were a mix of elements, with almost no majority. At their head was a tall purple Guardian. She looked so brave, so lonely, that Alran fell in love with her at once. He plunged into the ocean after her, determined to catch up. But the waves were cold and harsh, and Alran found himself sinking. Suddenly, the waves formed into a slender figure, and the newly summoned Seawater Savior held Alran above the waves. Together, they stumbled onto the shore of the Frigid Floes. Sheila, as Alran called the Seawater Savior, traveled with Alran all across the land of the Icewarden, despite the cold that threatened to freeze her. They didn't know where they were going, just followed the tracks of the purple Guardian. At last, they found them, building caves in the peaks of the Cloudscape Crags. Alran, shy, hesitant Alran, could not make himself talk to the Guardian, who he learned was named Ghiaccia, but instead made himself a small cave next to the clan library. There he resides, with Sheila, too shy to approach his beloved leader.
But Ghiaccia found him, her Ward and mate. They live together in the high peaks, with Alran always at her side, no matter where she goes.

The return of Makina and Tiger, founders and former leaders of The Icebound, disturbed Alran greatly. Ghiaccia and Makina fought for control of the clan. Alran did not like to see his mate fighting. Also, he liked Tiger. Tiger was just as shy and bookish as Alran himself. So, when Ghiaccia defeated Makina in combat, he persuaded her to keep Makina and Tiger in the clan.
He and Tiger hang out in the library a lot. Though Ghiaccia and Makina hate each other, who's to say they have too as well?
