Biography
Phoenix is the eldest of four eggs, born to the leaders of the clan when it was still small. She remembers it being just the six of them for a long time with the occasional visitor or traveling with her mother to the trading post and meeting other hatchlings there for her to play with.
One day, around the time they were just about a year old, she returned home to find both of her brothers and her only sister gone. Her mother explained to her that when Guardians reach a certain age they typically leave their birthclan and go on what Guardians as a species call 'The Search' to find what is called a 'charge' and more often than not they don't return, even if they find it. Her Tundra brother had opted to join a wind clan after meeting a young female from that clan and taking to her and she to him.
This news upset her greatly and she ended up sequestering herself away in an unused part of the lair for several months. It was only when she heard word her sister had returned that she came out, excited beyond measure. Her sister had been gone nearly six months and Phoenix had been very lonely in that time, even when her new siblings had been born. All but one had left and he was far from good company.
Rushing to the room they had once shared, she was greeted by bared fangs and a warning growl. This display from her sister caught her off guard and she stumbled back, frightened and immobile, until her mother stepped in. At that time, Phoenix was able to clear her head and look at her sister. She took in her sister, bearing electric blue circuit patterning all over her white body, and was confused for a moment until she put together that Papillon was displaying the hidden third color all dragons were born with. Phoenix then noticed a black and greyish mass covered in orange crystals that her sister seemed to be protecting.
Phoenix stood under her mother, who nuzzled her gentle and kindly explained what had happened, then ushered her out of the room.
Several years passed, the clan grew exponentially, and Phoenix was still alone. She had begun learning more about the role she was to play as eldest.
