Lillith

The Dark Queen

Lillith is a shrewd and cunning matriarch for her clan, and extremely ambitious. The dragoness is driven, deciding upon her goal and then striving for it at two hundred percent, never slowing or stopping. To outsiders she can appear cruel, a harsh taskmistress for anyone she sees as being weak or lazy. But while she might be outwardly abrasive, Lillith means the best for her clan. She is a fierce protector, and is just as critical of herself as she is of others.

The dark dragoness wasn't always this way however - before Tryll found her out in the world, she was a wanderer. She had no direction in her life, and no friends or family to turn to. She had been turned out of the Tangled Wood, and was lost and injured when a pale Tundra with distinctive bright green wings found her wandering the Scarred Wasteland. Tryll offered to guide her to a more hospitable region and protect her from the resident packs of ferocious Mirrors, and along the trip the two formed a strange but comfortable friendship. That was when the Tundra offered a space in her lair to the shadow Skydancer. The Tundra dragon was not comfortable leading her clan - it took too much time away from her exploring. Without a home or any other real options, and curious to see what this strange friendship would bring, Lillith followed Tryll back to her lair.

Even after she came to the peaceful Zephyr Steppes however, Lillith just wasn't quite content until she met the Morningstar (or as she calls him in private, Morn). They were uneasy allies in their respective quests for power at first - until love built a bridge between them. Now, though as harsh as ever, she truly feels happiness for the first time in her life.
