______ Hatchlings who choose the path of the warrior in the Hollow often live in mingled terror and awe of Luminosa. Affectionately called the 'battle maidens' - a term that is often greeted with a snort by Luminosa - she and her battle-sister, Arcana, train the hatchlings in the Hollow in the way of combat. While Arcana is boisterous and often full of praise, Luminosa is exacting and demanding, she turns out excellent warriors but none of the hatchlings exactly enjoy the process.

______ Luminosa had a mate and children before she came to serve Revelry and the hollow. Her children were grown and found service in other clans and at the feet of other dragons. Grim and battle hardened, Luminosa was not expecting to take another mate. To her surprise, she developed a deep connection with another dragon who had also seen and survived loss and hardship. Her relationship with Syndor is a deeply private thing. They are not prone to grand gestures or public displays, but the bond there is strong and true.

Hatchlings of Syndor and Luminosa have something of an austere upbringing. The pair are older parents, both having survived a previous mate and children to come together. They are protective parents, but not traditionally demonstrative. Both parents are part of the Hollow's warriors and Luminosa, their mother, trains hatchlings who show prowess in battle alongside her battle sister, who is far more affectionate and encouraging. This solemn pairing are likely to show encouragement or affection with quiet praise rather than effusive gestures.
