His name is of Welsh origin, it means "blessed love". It is derived from the words "caru" (love) and "gwyn" (white, fair, blessed). He was received as a gift from Retrovirus, and his original ancestors are Crusade and a nameless dragon. Maristela and Carwyn came here together from the same clan.

Something about Carwyn sticks out. His friends can quite put their claw on it and it infuriates Gyatso to no end but whatever it is, it's positive. When he first wandered northeast to a nature clan four months ago he wasn't sure what to expect but it felt like home. Different from the tide pools he was hatched in but home nonetheless.
