Born to Borealis and Talitha of the Òrdugh, Izar proved from the moment he hatched to be stronger than his brothers. Creating small windstorms just hours after hatching, the young Gale though himself to be perfect. Hand picked by their parents to remain, the young tundra preened in the knowledge that he was perhaps the best loved of the nest. This pride however was quickly tainted by the strange shiftings of his coat. The sheen began to dull within hours out of the nest, strange patches of light and dark creeping along the silky midnight hatchling down. Though he sought to stop this color change, Izar found that he couldn't. Within a day, his wings began to darken as well, the veins of strange colors spreading quickly across.
Though his coat and wings have been permanently stained with these strange patterns, Izar himself suffered no permanent damage from the experience. Still considering himself extremely loved, the young Gale spends most of his time following his parents around on patrol. His dream is to become a knight much like his father and to guard the leaders of the Òrdugh with pride. Considering his nocturnal nature, Izar's experience with anyone outside of the Òrdugh even in the troupe itself has been extremely limited and thus often leads to misunderstandings and mistakes. Curious beyond belief, Izar tends to find chaos within the troupe's nighttime hours. A firm believer in pranks, the young tundra enjoys setting up situations that are perhaps less funny to those on the receiving end. Still, it's all in good fun and few can stay mad with him for long.
