Charisma apprenticed himself to a master glazier soon after he moved out of his parents’ lair. His master soon discovered that Charisma has an incredible knack for working with glass, and he moved through his apprenticeship at an accelerated rate, becoming a master himself at an unprecedented young age. Charisma chose the Valkama Commune to set up his shop, creating the stained glass windows for the Piebald Qiriq Inn as his first commission. Always wanting to learn new things, Charisma has begun teaching himself the art of glass-blowing in addition to stained-glass.
Charisma is dragon with a lot of love to give, and has been searching for a heart of gold to match his own. He finally found it in the dashing adventurer Pythagoras.

Charisma twirled the metal rod in his claws, coaxing the molten glass at its end into a brilliant glowing bloom. “It’s a good thing I’m not dating a fae,” he said to himself, using a pair of iron snips to shear the glass flower from the rod and transferring it to an ornate glass ring, sized for an imperial dragon’s large claw. A smaller ring wouldn’t be able to contain as much detail as this ring did: the ring itself was clear glass with specks of gold and swirls of dusky pink contained within, and clusters of tiny glass forget-me-nots decorated the outer edge. Charisma was pouring all his artistic ability and a bit of his soul into this one very special ring.
Suddenly, the behatted head of a pink imperial stuck its head through the door of Charisma’s workshop, large enough to fill the entire doorway and barbells wiggling with curiosity. “Hi babe, what are you working on?” it said.
Charisma jumped in surprise and swiftly moved his body to block the ring from view. “Gory, you scared me! What have I told you about trying to come into my workshop?”
Pythagoras winked cheekily. “I know, I know, it’s too small in here for me to fit properly. I just thought I’d see if you’d want to come out and have some lunch and maybe a glass of wine. You’ve been working awfully hard. Say, what ARE you working on?”
“Nothing! I mean, uh, that’s confidential. The um, client specifically asked that I keep it a secret until they were ready to unveil it.”
“A special commission! How exciting,” exclaimed Pythagoras, his eyes twinkling. “You’re really building a reputation, aren’t you? My boyfriend: the most sought-after glassworker in the realm. I’m so proud of you.” He withdrew his head from the door. “I’ll keep the food warm for you in case you decide to take a break,” came his voice from outside.
Charisma sighed as he shut the workshop door. He picked up the ring again and inspected his work with pride. Pythagoras’ engagement ring was going to be his finest work.
