Biography
Name meaning: Latin for brook/stream/rivulet
Age: Young Dragon
Gender: Male
Pronouns: He/Him
Role: Weather-Worker
Mate: Myst
Rivus and Myst are a strange couple. Quite a strange couple indeed. They both possess a mysterious kind of magic, completely unlike any other magic known to the clan's darongs. Even Rodoux, with all his research, and Luna, with all her ancient knowledge, have never seen the like.
The clan call Rivus the Weather-Worker, for he has a mysterious power over the weater. It can't really be called control, that would imply that he could change the weather at will, and the weather answers to no master. But somehow he is in tune with the weather, he can feel winds moving in all levels of the atmosphere, he is one with the rain in the clouds, and he is part of the lighting that strikes. Because of his awareness of the weather he acts as the clan's protector against nature's forces, he can warn of oncoming storms and hurricanes, droughts and more. Lighting can be particularly dangerous in the Shrieking Wilds, if a fire catches the whole clan could be in danger. But he doesn't only warn of the weather, he works the weather as well. He moulds the clouds, he shapes the winds and he catches the lightning. Somehow he is able to absorb lightning to a degree, but always at great risk. If he absorbs more than he is able to handle, he risks getting burned out and discharging all the lighting in a blast, killing both himself and probably everyone nearby. Still, Rivus takes on the heavy burden of Weather-Working, to protect the clan and his home.
