______ Perseus is and always has been a bit of a unique dragon. He was born in the watery regions of Sornieth to two loving parents. His father had been the Clan's scribe and was a naturally soft-spoken fellow. His mother was the Clan's blacksmith and was quite an outgoing and loud dragon to say the least. His mother wanted him to follow in her footsteps and to take on the family trade, teaching her son about the forge and the tools. However, Perseus was never really interested in it. He was more like his father, he was soft-spoken and rather intelligent, preferring to work with words than with metal. Whenever he could he watched his father work; watching how he dealt with things and watching his favourite thing - a long feathery quill flowing over crisp clear parchment. Despite the conflicting roles that his parents wanted him to partake in, he had a good upbringing and tried to please all.

______ One day a traveler came by the Clan grounds to stop and rest after a long tiring journey, seeking shelter in their grounds. The curious young Perseus was enthralled by this stranger who was dressed in silks and finery, who moved with grace and ease, who was wise and whose knowledge was vast. He wouldn't leave the dragon's side and engaged in many a conversation with him. The strange dragon turned out to be a Cleric from another Clan, one who looked after and guided the young and old, helping them begin their lives and bring closure. The more they talked, the more Perseus knew he wanted to be just like this stranger; he wanted to help, to guide. The stranger left a few days later...and Perseus went with him.

______ Throughout the months that followed the strange dragon, who Perseus came to know as Enrion, taught him all that he knew, imparting his wisdom and his values upon the eager student. Perseus was taken back to Enrion's clan, Clan Allesmeira, where he entered into an official apprenticeship with the old dragon. There he helped Enrion with his daily tasks and his ceremonies, all the while taking in everything he could. As time passed he matured and his own knowledge and skills grew. He became much loved within the clan and took on a specialty of helping exaltees, guiding them through the exaltion process. As time passed he helped Enrion out more and more as the dragon got older and less agile. In the end, sickness claimed him and he passed peacefully in his sleep. Although deeply saddened, Perseus decided to continue his legacy and he was offered to take over Enrion's position in the Clan, of which he gladly accepted.
