She struggled in her study of necromancy when she was alive. After her death, she can now command the undead with a flick of her wrist.

Queen of the Shade. A shining example of how sorrow can twist a soul.

She distrusts humans. Some say she fears them, but she silences such murmurings as quickly as they rise. "I do not fear humans," she says. "They fear me."

It is true that Badhbh is fearsome. There are whispers that she commands an undead horde so formidable that it could leave the earth sundered and squalid should she command it... but no one has ever actually caught a glimpse of such an army. Badhbh is shrouded in mystery. No one, not even the Shade who follow her, truly know her secrets.
