They say there is always one. The outlier. Alsfur has never belonged with the barbaric and savage nature of the dragons that make home in the Blackreach Citadel. Doomed to fall through the cracks, unnoticed by uncaring parents and warriors who valued his brothers' battle prowess to the calm and intricate thoughts of the little Skydancer. Many a day were spent musing, brooding, nurturing an art form all but lost to these medieval creatures.

There was never a dull day within this clan of brutes, but by far the most memorable of all his young life was the day his brother was cast from the clan. The grisly scene he left behind was what prompted the first of young Aslfurs' poems; the first of many. His goal, his dream, was born that day; to immortalize history in lines to always be remembered. But none in his current home could appreciate such an aspiration, so out into the shadows he set, perhaps to find a place with warmer sands and warmer hearts.
