Reed Lagoon In the upper left corner of the Reedcleft Ascent, there rests a juncture between Wind and Plague where a long forgotten lagoon remains. Mighty fang like protrusions from the border of the Wandering Contagion jut from the murky waters that are oddly clean if a bit cloudy. A random assortment of lily pads, reeds, bamboo, and swampy flora form patches of impressive free floating foliage. Most free floating foliage is caught by the taller stationary reeds, creating lush masses atop the water. Pillars of stone wrapped in vines and plants form platforms of small islands while the beach in the inner portion is surrounded by high stone walls all around. Stony fangs from the contagion also poke out between random portions of this stone wall. |

╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Characteristics & Story Wise Powerful Patient Reliable A natural inhabitant from the deeper waters of Driftwood Drab, Yishai long migrated from the location and now looks over a portion of the clan. Those of the clan seek both his wisdom and might, for Yishai peacefully lives below the waters but will display his anger if his clan is endangered. He welcomes those into Reed Lagoon with a ceremonial tidal wave that completely soaks the new inhabitants in the boggy water. Yishai is peaceful with the Mer clan that wanders the waters but keeps a close eye on a parasitic fish species. If left unchecked this fish species would overtake the natural food source of this particular portion of the clan. Yishai claims these parasitic fish are salty tasting, crunchy, and not a bad addition to the menu. Even below the waters Yishai watches. A bellow will travel all around Reed Lagoon at the first sight of danger, then Yishai and others will fight and defend the territory. ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ |
