Nathaniel is gifted with an unusual and highly sought-after psychic ability: pyromancy. Nathaniel can specifically use this ability to see when a dragon has done something wrong through looking into a fire. His duty within the clan is to ensure that any wrong-doings are found out and that a correct punishment is issued; issuing said punishments is also his duty. Although crimes are rare within the clan itself, many incidents involving rogue dragons and dragons from rival clans are handled by Nathaniel. He is a very loyal and serious dragon and takes his job seriously. He has a reputation for his strongly-defined values and affinity with fire. Many question just how it is that a Wildclaw ended up with such magical abilities, but Nathaniel has yet to provide an explanation. No one dares to probe for further answers, usually dissuaded by the unintentionally intimidating air surrounding him. The one dragon he loosens up around is his beloved mate, Zeke, who he has vowed to guard with his life.

After his first three children hatched and begin to exhibit incredible supernatural abilities, Nathaniel at last came clean: he revealed that he was, in fact, an angel dragon. Before this revelation, only his mate Zeke had known the truth. Creating more and more angelic ties within the clan, Nathaniel swore to care for and protect his children, raising them in the way of angel dragons. All was relatively well, until his daughter Apollyon, always a rebellious and devious dragon, began to exhibit odd behavior. Refusing to believe that this meant anything significant, Nathaniel was eventually forced to face the horrifying truth when one day he saw in his flame his own daughter working alongside demons to carry out horrible acts. She continued to commit crime after crime, and when things reached a peak without any glimpse of resolution, there was no choice left but to end Apollyon's life. This was easier said then done, as Apollyon had powers beyond that of most nephilim, fueled by her unstable genetics. Despite this, she was eventually subdued and killed...supposedly. Reports are muddled and contradictory, but it is believed by most that Apollyon is dead. But there's always the slim chance she managed to escape in the chaos...a possibility that haunts Nathaniel everyday to consider.
