Onyx was one of the first clan members. He came from wind, where he roamed with his clan from the Zephyr Steppes to the Reedcleft Ascent. His childhood was of travel and adventure, being fearless leaping and gliding across towering drops. His parents were respected in the clan, and he had never known a lack of anything. In the time they lived in the Reedcleft Ascent, they were near the southern border of the Wandering Contagion. His curiosity lead to him exploring further than he should have into plague territory, where he encountered a pack of mirrors. They were hostile. He ran, but they followed him. A few clan members were out looking for him, and they fought to defend him. Some were killed. When he grew up, he ventured back into Plague territory to seek out those that had killed his family. He discovered that the pack was much smaller now, but there were still some remaining members, and he knew he would find them and kill them. He wandered for a bit, encountering other dragons along the way and eventually forming a clan with them. He still wishes to destroy the mirrors of his past, but now he also knows the value of protecting the clan he has, and that is the forefront of his goals.
