Midnight was bought from the Shade's secret representative's black market. Nightwing bought him even though DarkRogue/Shadow didn't want him to.

I had this idea months ago but it never really got off the ground so I'm trying again.
So I've got an idea for a story that involves four warring "gangs" of dragons. This takes place in an AU-type Sornieth world where they have big cities and a lot of "modern" tech (phones, cars/transportation, etc). The city would likely be something like New York City, with multiple provinces. This is where the gangs come in.
The first province is owned by a street gang called the Ravens. They're known for being kind of "shady" and often operating under the dead of night. They use secret tunnels and sometimes even the sewer system to sneak in and out of places without being seen. Spies make up the backbone of this gang. Made up of mostly Shadow and Wind dragons.
