Biography

This feisty thing crawled out of an egg you bought at the market. "Found the three of 'em between the Raseth ruins," the vendor had said. "Some say they're cursed, certainly didn't do that clan any good." The man eventually convinced you to take one - discounted - and you bring it home. Don't leave it alone for too long - the dragon inside is a chewer.

A fighter, in every sense of the word. Where most Guardians are noble creatures, this one is more alike a mirror. He is active, loud, and shows great potential as a warrior; if his parents were still around, he would surely have enjoyed the mercenary life they led. He takes after his father, with his affinity for trouble. Though this one does not appear to be very family oriented, there is stll somewhat of a dull ache there - did his parents just not want him anymore? He makes sure to overcompensate by asking for attention every step of the way.

Kapil is the vice captain of Adamantine and Captain Du Nord’s husband. Quick-tempered, brawny, and stubborn, he’s a force to be reckoned with. At least he’s become more tolerable with age. Nowadays he mainly keeps to manning the ship and taking care of their two kids, Nisha and Chandra.

He was sold as an egg. Found by a kind traveler and brought to his home. There, in SanHua, Kapil grew up as a troublesome orphan who always vied for the attention of the traveler who found him. But that traveler, Marcel, never saw him as a son, and so Kapil never had a father. The closest to home was an ubiquitous shelter provided by the city. The closest to family were the ever-changing faces he picked fights with.

After Marcel’s death, Kapil departed from SanHua, now to find his brood and blood. But he found that the Dunewind legacy ended with his siblings. He was hardly one to compare, a stocky brat whose bite hardly meets his bark. At least he now had an inkling on why they abandoned him. He left shortly after meeting them.

They met at a crossroads.
A lanky mirror pup about the same age as him. Something about needing company within dangerous roads. Who pestered him til the next town over. Then the next one. And the next. Soon enough, that annoying youth became a close companion. A best friend. A brother.
Well, that last part needed some remedy. Several more years of trials and tribulations, 2 near deaths, and many more scars and injuries got themselves to a kiss. Punches and screaming got to a ring. An accidental egg got a family. Now with another new baby, Kapil never imagined finding himself at this point. But he’s happier than ever.
