A sickly spiral gazed at her child, "Oh my child. Find something better," By sheer will she had stayed alive- not resting until her children had been born. Now that she's done that... probably can't stretch what's already been reached.
"Fine then," The hatching grumbled, "The clan'll be my charge," She huddled closer to her mother's cool body, always a good way to calm down.
The spiral looks on in pity.
Her mom's been long gone. That's fine. She'll still stay true to her words. Even if she doesn't have a true charge.
Even as her hands are guided into crimes too many.
"You're never first priority. Not even second."
Her heart drops at the proclamation. Her eyes sting. But before she can even dare to cry, there are sounds, heavy and rushing steps towards them.
"Make a decision."
And she chose to stay.
