Nebula sometimes carries two shadows, instead of one. She never knows quite how it happens, but she enjoys having the extra friend. Not many dragons often notice her presence.
She has no knowledge of how she exists. When she learned that dragons hatch from eggs, she replied, "No, that's not how I got here." It is wrong, but also right. This clan is all she has known, but she is a Shadow dragon. No one in the clan knows of a Shadow egg being hatched in the clan, but that is the only explanation for Nebula.
What about a different egg, she asks. She remembers a bright yellow-white egg.
No, that's ridiculous, comes the response. Shadow dragons come from Shadow eggs. Light dragons come from Light eggs.
Shadow dragons. What else could Nebula be, but a Shadow dragon... a Shadow... a shadow...
