B I O G R A P H Y

Borne on the wind, Rhamantus showed up one day riding an elk that was laden with relics. The sight intrigued Aithne, and upon discovering that Rhamantus was in possession of knowledge and artifacts from the Beastclans, Moryn insisted that he become a library researcher.

Solemn and dry, Rhamantus is the epitome of the scholarly stereotype. He seems to prefer books over dragons (Henna is an obvious exception) and would rather be left alone so he can study. Although he gets along with Moryn well enough, most of the other fae in the library find him humorless and a bit egotistical. Nonetheless he's a very knowledgeable dragon where his field is concerned, and he makes frequent trips out into Sorneith to gather data on the Beastclans.

Anyone with eyes can see that Henna is Rhamantus' weakness. He grows notably more animated and personable when she's around, although he usually lets her tell the story about how they met. Likewise, Henna can draw out the more hidden aspects of his personality, making him a bit more liked among the library residents.

I N V E N T O R Y

Rannoch is a loyal, well-traveled steed, and he's stuck with Rhamantus through thick and thin. He tends to carry the abundance of relics that the fae finds for study, but he does so without complaint.

A centaur dagger, and the first relic Rhamantus ever found. It's what ignited his passion for all things Beastclan.

Lots of quills and parchment, for taking lots of notes.

R E L A T I O N S H I P S

Henna- Rhamantus' mate. He doesn't know how, but the fae has utterly charmed him despite the fact that they are almost opposites in terms of personality. When he can't stick by her side, he's giving her gifts and souvenirs from his research trips.

Baralinel- Rhamantus' rival. He looks down on her unscienific way of conducting her research and takes whatever opportunity he can to point out what she's doing wrong- when Henna's not around to hear it, of course. Unfortunately, Baralinel's sunspot clouddancer enjoys terrorizing him, and Rhamantus has taken to riding in Rannoch's antlers a lot more.
