Nome is a talented blacksmith and engineer, intermittently retired, with episodes of suddenly being out of retirement for either of an interesting project, or noting highly shoddy work. He is foul tempered, impatient, demanding and snappish. That being the case, for a truly interested (and truly talented) student, he has near infinite patience and endless pride in their accomplishments.
Nome was initially passing through the Everbloom Gardens and the curious and varied nature of the clanhome layout caught his attention. His first impulse was to decry the unorthodox combination of Fae Sap, Baubotanik plant grown structures and as indicated by some of the harmonies of the winds as they blew across cavern and airflow openings, complex excavations which hinted at Sandsurges or Ridgebacks or both. His gruff inquiry into "Whose idea was this?!" was met by an introduction to TanikMax
Following his gaze, and anticipating some of his questions, she took him on a full tour, and within a few minutes they were deeply involved in architectural discussions that were quickly so esoteric that no one else had any idea what they were talking about.
