The King Of The Jungle

RainForest has lived a long, eventful life. He got involved in clan politics fairly early on, apprenticing under his birth clan's leaders in order to learn everything he could. He was eventually prompted to act as the clan's spokesperson. Instead of leaders putting themselves in danger or relying on letters to negotiate terms of peace or warfare, they could instead send an able-bodied dragon. While RainForest did learn a lot during this time in his life, it didn't exactly make him happy. Managing resources, keeping secrets, and navigating tense relations was more stressful than it was rewarding. He informed his clan leaders of the decision to change occupations, and they agreed to let him go on one condition: he train a successor. RainForest agreed and mentored not just one -- but three dragons to take up the mantle. Once both he and his leaders were satisfied with the state of things, RainForest left with no intention of returning and decided to visit his old friend Leaf, who had long since settled down in the Shifting Expanse.
