Born into the Light Clan Iubaris, Terpsichore had a happy and rich childhood. He lived privilaged life in Iubaris, using his ample free-time and resources to learn the art of music. His mother was both his teacher and inspiration, although he decided to specialize in the study of the lute, instead of following in her footsteps and playing the flute. Iubaris already had an established local music group however, and was saturated with fine arts, so he decided to set out for another clan, with his family's blessing. While wandering throughout the golden fields of the Sunbeam Ruins, he stumbled upon Sakuna on patrol.

With the sunlight glittering and bouncing off her iridescent scales, Terpsichore was immediately enchanted, and called out to her. Sakuna of course was more hostile than friendly since Terpsichore had unknowingly wandered onto Volusitis territory. After a good trouncing, Terpsichore explained his situation, and Sakuna agreed to bring him back to her clan.

Now he is enjoying his time with the Clan, mostly doing performances in the local tavern, but sometimes is sent with diplomatic parties to other clans, or entertains visiting nobility. Terpsichore's specialty is playing the lute and even writing songs, but his tone of voice is slightly lackluster. He enjoys playing in the tavern the most, as he can be silly and the center of attention. He claims Sakuna as his muse, and many of his original songs are inspired by her. Although in the rougher crowds of the tavern he does feel slightly wary, as his upbringing hasn't exactly included combat training.
