Sverrir

You know that aggravating tendency to want to bend the world to their will that most Lightning dragons have?

Well, Sverrir is most definitely one of those most thoroughly afflicted by it. And as if that wasn't enough, he wasn't satisfied with "merely" constructing machines, trinkets and contraptions. No, those are for "unimaginative louts who are stuck in the ruts of tradition and follow the broken legacy of lesser beings". Sverrir is different from them.

Better.

He works with magic.

Like a proper dragon.

Most other Lightning dragons scoff at him and scornfully sneer that their machines can do everything his magic can do and much, much more - which just proves how inferior magic is and how smart they are for having divested themselves of it.

That is, until they realise that Sverrir has somehow managed to figure out how to bend the fabric of space-time with his "inferior magic", something which they have barely even managed to begin to dream of doing with their machines.

Then they suddenly grow silent.

And it really would have been enough for Sverrir to even have a viable theory about how to do this to get that reaction, but of course he would not be satisfied with that. No, he has Mastered the field, a field many would say is impossible.

And what does he do with this Mastery?

Well.

He actually seems quite content with just having managed it and mostly uses his reality-breaking powers to give himself more hours in a day so that he has more time for reading and research.

Ok, no, maybe he's not quite content since he's still researching. The Clan just prefers to turn a blind eye to it since Sverrir being Up To Something is a distinctly unsettling thought and he gladly bribes them with instant transportation of goods and dragons to keep it that way.

Every now and then he is spotted talking with Loke (master of raw magic and matter manipulation) as well as Hugleika, Stjarndis and Angrboda (who have all somehow managed to transcend the concepts of space and/or time), however, which lead people to remember that he is indeed Up To Something, become really nervous, and then repress the thoughts all over again.

No-one wants to know what he might be doing this time.

Really, no-one.

• Incapable of messing with the future, even if he can locally speed up or slow down the speed of time.
