Grian

The pale sun of winter, she who walks on floating embers.

Stern as she needs to be to stand as Ambiorix's mate, Grian still manages to exude an air of wisdom and kindness, often taking young nestlings under her wing to help them learn to hunt and fly. Though she's firm when speaking to adults, around the youngsters she is warm and patient, certain that proper guidance during the early years will make productive adolescents with good heads solidly on their shoulders. She isn't the clan matriarch--that is and remains Sirona, to whom Grian shows due respect--but many members of the clan will turn to Grian for advice, especially when it comes to politics or combat strategy, drawing on her and Ambiorix's combined expertise for answers.
