Son of the Ancients of the Martor Shadi, Shadows excelled in shadow magics and stealth, though he is no stranger to weaponry.

Shadows had troubles filling the footsteps of his parents and was to be take over the high position of training hatchlings.
However, when the time came to name him, the village instead gave him simple supplies to send him off on his Hunt.

This was best for everyone.
At least this was Shadows' thoughts.
He may not have been able to secure footing in the clan's hierarchy, but at least he was good at killing the Shade.

For years he upheld personal honour by ridding Sornieth of countless Shade, however there came a time where he found himself in marshes for a hunt when he was overcome by a particularly powerful mass of Shade.

Through this battle he was wounded in multiple areas, but he succeeded, or he thought so at the very least.
Through his wounds the Shade had made its way into his body and began to spread without his knowing.

Upon the purification bath every Martor Shadi must do after a battle, he found the water causing him much pain that he had to quickly remove himself from it.
It was here he came to the realization that he was Shade-Touched.

Feeling great fear for his like, Shadows has taken to fleeing to remote parts of Sornieth in hopes to never run into another Martor Shadi.
All the while the Shade consumes him and his mind and overcomes him, little by little.

The more the Shade overcomes, the less of Shadows remains in him, and he becomes emboldened to seek out other Shade for more power and to spread.

The Shade within Shadows now knows of the Martor Shadi clan and will soon seek to eradicate it from Sornieth.
But it must first gain more allies...
