Epasias
Druid, healer

Epasias is an old Druid who specialized in healing. In addition to having extensive training in herbal and surgical remedy, she is experienced in ritual and will call upon the power of the deities to heal the sick and wounded.

She is known for being incredibly kindhearted, but also very willful-- she has devoted herself to aiding others, and she will let nothing get in the way of her craft. In her original clan, she worked with Riomaros but had a habit of taking control of the healing station, politely asking him to leave or delegating him to easy tasks so that she can perform her own rituals in her own fashion. Eventually, she decided there were more dragons outside the clan who could use her aid, and she took to being a traveling physician.

Early in her travels, she ran into an anxious guardian named B'Elanna who had yet to find a charge despite having begun her Search ages ago. While Epasias had no medicine for this problem, her prescence did seem to lift B'Elanna's spirits a bit, and they enjoyed each other's company. When Epasias was packing up to find the next village to temporarily stand in as a healer, B'Elanna decided to go with her, as she figured her Search would be more fun with someone by her side. Soon the two started dating, and eventually got married and have been together for over 30 years.

Eventually, Epasias and B'Elanna wound up in Florabrisa when word reached them that the small clan was in need of a new healer. Though Epasias was getting up there in years, she gladly took the opportunity to help out. She and B'Elanna had intended to only stay temporarily before continuing with B'Elanna's eternal Search, but they fell in love with the community and B'Elanna seemed unsure how much more travelling she wanted to do anymore. When a new permanent healer named Islacura arrived to Florabrisa, Epasias decided it was time to retire and while she still gladly offers healing wisdom to the new doctor in addition to helping in emergencies, she mostly just wants to take things easy with B'Elanna, until B'Elanna feels ready once again to keep going with her Search.

In Florabrisa, her closest friend is old arcane mage Sonata. The two like to practice magic together.
