Origin: A certain Water Clan... Met at the Marketplace.
Position: Temporary family member: Edmund's place in the Kith is not forever, as he's merely looking for a place to stay while he prepares for his work under one of the deities. Until he's exalted, he's found a close companionship with Leo and his small, put-together family.
Relationships
Parents: (Mycroft & Trance): Edmund left his parents' home in the Water Flight to pursue his career. He doesn't talk about them except to speak kindly of them.
Siblings:
(All): Edmund has many siblings who have set forth on their own, just like him, though for various reasons and causes. He doesn't stay in touch with them.
Mate:(None): Edmund is both far too young and far too busy to be thinking of settling down with a mate. It's more likely he'll find love at first sight with a nice lady secretary once he's exalted.
Offspring:(None): Being barely on the precipice of his teenage years, Edmund becomes extremely flustered when asked about the possibility of having hatchlings. It's best to not bring it up, and save the poor boy the embarrassment. Except once in a while. It's still funny.
Friends:
(All): Edmund rarely finds himself making friends, due to his political and bookish nature. The only way he meets dragons at all is by either asking for directions, buying supplies at the marketplace, or through his lodging arrangements. There's hardly time to settle down and make companions. But this has recently changed...
(Clanmates): As he studied vigorously for his career as a youth, and left when still quite young, Edmund didn't get to know his own clanmates very well, back in the Water Flight. There aren't many of them he remembers.
(The Kith): Among his new family, Edmund has appreciated all that Indra and Van have done for him. But Leo is the closest companion he knows. Long talks beneath the stars with their Guardian and Nocturne partners, and shared fears, doubts, hopes, and ambitions, have drawn them closely together. If time stood still, the two would never choose to be parted.

(Silver Springbok): This silvery deer seems to be following him around warily, but runs away when he confronts it... Does it secretly like him? Oh. A tsundeere, then.
Story
No Home, But Yours, My Dear New Friend...
A young Imp of dwarf stature (by adult Imperials' standards), Edmund trained to one day be exalted and go to work for the clan's deity. But being pacifistic and political by nature, he chose not to contribute to his Flight's dominance wars, but to go into service to another Flight first, and work as a representative of his element.
When he was old enough, nearing the end of his teen years, and not quite fully grown, he made the long travel from his parents' home in the Water Flight to reach Wind. That's where he met Leo and Indra as he was wandering the marketplace, looking for lodging for the night. They were glad to take him in, and he quickly bonded with them over their kindness and philosophy. Edmund especially grew close to Leonidas, whom he spoke with extensively day and night about politics and life. The two became fast friends. Edmund still works with his self-education and attempted entry to the Windsinger's court in anticipation of the day when he will be exalted to a political career.

Habits: Though not particularly a habit, Edmund is notably small for his age. He's yet to hit his growth spurt, and finds Leo to be just the right height for conversation. Vancerred and (especially) Indra are almost mother-sized to him.
