Haos is a spirit. He can become a breeze-carried flurry of leaves and dust, and his draconian form is perpetually translucent in addition to being very well camouflaged against an autumn landscape. He’s tentative and shy, curious and morbid. He enjoys poking around the bones of tiny birds and the empty carpaces of insects struck down by the cooling weather. He’s knowledgeable about herbs and healing remedies, rituals and various magics. He learns from lurking as an innocuous pile of leaves around the huts of healers and practicioners of the occult.
Local clans consider sighting his dragon form bad luck, and beastclans place charms inside their homes to ward off his presence. Their fear of him isn’t unfounded; he may not intend to cause harm, but does carry with him a faint whiff of rot and trail of contagion to the beds of healers’ patients. Creatures near death can see him clearly, and find him frightening. Animals flee at the stench of his approach.

Plants and fungi, on the other hand, find his presence delightful. Fields and forests visited by him will burst with frenzied growth. Haos knows this, and curls up to sleep among fruit-bearing or rare plants whenever he can. If he hears footsteps approaching, he flees.
