Levantine has one purpose: to kill.

Rescued as an abandoned hatchling, she was always... off. Serious, and cryptic, her caretakers never felt fully at ease around her. As it turns out, she has the gift of future sight, though she considers it a curse. Luma took her in during a voyage past Water territories, and she's been a faithful companion since. But Luma has never offered her affection; Lev is a tool to the Skydancer, and nothing more. She follows orders dutifully, hoping for a glimpse of what she's been lacking her whole life, to no avail. She despises Kaesa, the daughter Luma appears to favor, because of it.

Noting this hatred, Luma tasked her with a specific duty; stay in the depths of the caverns to ensure Kraken doesn't get up to something terrible. She follows this purpose dedicatedly, though in recent days, her visions and feelings have... shifted a little. While externally Lev still seems the faithful servant, she's starting to see the value in Kraken's freedom and chaotic nature. She's doing less and less to inhibit him, and more of her own planning. She's tired of doing Luma's dirty work, both with Kraken and the lair's other traitors. Brewing war means she will find herself with more blood on her claws, and... she's done.

Said planning may or may not involve eradicating her competition for Luma's affections, which she's deluded herself into being the reason the leader doesn't seem to care for her.
