Euryl Future Co-Matriarch |
"Oh, how beautiful!" she sighed wistfully as the song ended. It told the story of two young dragons, plagueborn and natureborn, who fell in love despite their clans' rivalry. They met each other in secret, only at night, in the Tangled Wood to exchange their vows of everlasting love to one another. However one day the plague dragon decided to take a different route to meet their lover. However, they got lost in the brambles and was never able to find their way out. The nature dragon waited and waited for her lover, only to wait until she too became one with the forest. "You must've heard this songs one thousand times over, yet you still request it every time." Serenade laughed, the silver bells of her silks tinkling as she laughed. It was Euryl's favourite song. All of her favourite songs were about tragic love stories, where the partners were doomed to live apart. That and stories of princesses being rescued by knights. She knew she was a princess too, but one day she hoped to rescue her own princess, just like the heroic knights of her stories. She could be the first princess-knight she thought, smiling. Maybe she'd rescue another arcane dragon from the beastclans, gazing into each others bright pink eyes... She shook her head at the thought of it, what a story that would make!

Euryl is, without a doubt, a princess. She carries herself as a monarch would, which is apt given her role as future co-matriarch. Being Kazyncy hatchling, she has developed a bit of an ego over this, treating other dragons with an aloof attitude and distance. This isn't to say she dislike her clan mates, but more she'd not entirely sure how to deal with them. Growing up idealizing Serenade's stories of princesses and royalty, armour and knights, she grew to adopt that role for herself. Although she does act with poise and dignity, some of her mother's habits have worn off on her. She's a good judge of character, and tends to deal with stressful situations with laughter. Thanks to Serenade's stories, she also has an ideal goal in life for herself. She hopes to one day meet a dragon from another clan, maybe one who's not even arcane or light, and fall in love with them in secret. She loves the idea of a tragic romance, and wishes to engage in her own forbidden love story one day. However, as she has yet to meet dragons from outside her clan, this may prove difficult. |
