Angelica is loved by all. She has a voice so breathtaking some believe it's a gift from the deities themselves. It is only compounded by a kind, warm heart - she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She joins the other clan musicians at clan events, but most often can be found singing to and soothing the injured and sick in the healer's grotto.

As much as Archangelica loves singing, she loves songwriting just as dearly. The lyrics of her own songs often reflect her deepest emotions on just about everything she perceives, both joyful and sorrowful. As such, they are usually deeply personal pieces, and though she will occasionally share her lighter tunes with those sick, injured, or otherwise downtrodden, she prefers to save the gloomier for when she's alone and singing to no one but herself.

Although she may seem to have a blessed life, not all is as perfect as it seems. All nocturnes prefer to the nighttime, but Angelica has a strange disorder whereby her skin is extremely sensitive to light. As a child she was sent to the healers multiple times because she just wanted to feel the sun on her outstretched wings. It is to her eternal sorrow that she cannot bask on a ledge in the warm sun as it sets, painting the sky with its colors.

She is named after Angelica archangelica, a plant that has been used as a medicine, flavoring, decoration, and in the creation of a flute-like instrument with a clarinet-like sound. Unfortunately its appearance mimics several poisonous species, so use it with care.
