______ Hanami is one of the larger Nocturnes of the Lair but carries herself like a much smaller dragon. A native of Windstar bay she strives to be polite, respectful of her elders and helpful to all the other dragons of the lair. Her dress is always neat but modest, her tone polite but not snobbish and her movements graceful and refined. Her clothes are made of fine silk and the fans she wears on her wings have hand-painted sakura blossoms on the purple silk. For the visitor wishing to experience the traditions of the Windswept Plateau she provides tea and traditional dance sessions. As well as the intricate tea ceremony Hanami can sing, play the bamboo flute, dance the traditional dances of the wind, paints with watercolors and writes beautifully calligraphy. Her lair is Fae-like, nestled in a grove of beautiful cherry blossom trees that in spring briefly blossom in a stunning display of pink blossom. At this time she opens the grove for others to view, setting up the best viewing spots and brewing Panda's special Bamboo Tea. Honey sells delicious pink steamed buns stamped with a cherry blossom emblem and topped with a few fallen petals. This event is greatly looked forward to in the Last Retreat as the quintessential sign of spring. In her free time she composes poetry and practices the traditional martial art of the Windswept Plateau under Ziz's instruction.

______ With her elegant manner of conducting herself and impeccable manners she has earned the title of the Princess of the Last Retreat and is respectfully called Lady Hanami. She is often called upon to entertain important visitors with her Wind Flight style hospitality. Her familiar, a fearsome Sakura Owl by the name of Zakura, makes sure she is not disturbed from her work or harassed in the streets. Those who do not have much knowledge of the intricacies of Wind Flight hospitality often view her as shy and timid whereas those more understanding of the subtleties of her speech know her to be both highly intelligent and highly independent.
