Vireya is a young immortal blessed by the Plaguebringer. Created to aid Mycologist in her duties, Vireya traveled from the Wyrmwound into the Gladekeeper's territory. Passing through the lush forests and flowery scenery, Vireya fell in love. She entered Charaxes' grove before reaching the clan and decided she had to live there; she couldn't obey her goddess's command.

Despite Charaxes' frequent visits, Vireya avoided detection for months. She helped the bees in the grove to create their intricate hives and helped to create a network to harvest their honey. In exchange for the honey she managed to grow a small azalea bush on her back, allowing the bees to have even more flowers available.

When Charaxes finally came upon her she was incredibly surprised, questioning Vireya as to why she hid for so long. Vireya was half truthful, telling Charaxes that she had found the grove accidentally while travelling and decided to stay for a while. Charaxes wasn't bothered and said that Vireya could stay, as long as Charaxes could take the honey back to the clan. Vireya quickly agreed and set up a more permanent resting place for herself.

Despite Vireya's contentment with her new home, the Plaguebringer haunts her dreams. The commands are more forceful and almost unbearable, nearly causing physical pain. Charaxes can clearly tell something is not right as she gets to know Vireya better but Vireya refuses to disclose the truth. However as they get closer she does share the fact that, like Charaxes, she is immortal.
