Mate of Ismaiel

Vuraig (Healer):
As the Vuraig of the clan it is Nocturne’s duty to care for the wellbeing of the clan. That includes collecting and storing plants, fungi and animals with medicinal properties and preserving them for later use in slaves, brews and tonics.

Her herb pouch is always with her in case someone needs a fast acting remedy until a specialized medicine can be produced. To give the art of healing to the next generation also falls in a Vuraig’s duty.

About Nocturne:
Nocturne is a softhearted dragon but has a cold demeanor. She had been betrayed and hunted down by her former clan until she fell from a cliff into the sea of a thousand currents – one of those currents washed her up at the border of the tangled wood where Ismaiel found her on one of his hunting trips and decided to nurse the beautiful skydancer back to health. She mistrusted him at first – she had heard many a horror stories of the shadowflight and why would this dragon be any different?

Over the course of days after her waking though se warmed up to him and decided to stay in his clan and take up the duty of a Vuraig as the healers were called in this region. Upon the first meeting with the clan and Ismaiel’s (now former) mate a fight broke out between those two. When Ismaiel decided to separate them his mate Rujaposo ended their relationship.

It took a while for the clan to overcome this change but sometime after Nocturne became Ismaiel’s new mate. She has taken a great liking to his daughter Sesunyfa and taken her in as an Apprentice once Nocturne had a proficient knowledge of the arts of healing herself.
