Biography

BURHAN
"And I judge from that elysian freight/That all they ask is rougher weather"
- The Flower Boat Poem, Robert Frost

Burhan likes a challenge, but he isn't one for taking risks. So how does he set up situations that settle his specific needs? How does he manage to find circumstances where he's tested but he doesn't make the choice to go into that, himself?

Well, he doesn't. For some reason - a curse, a particularly rambunctious brother, a poor taste in friends - he's found himself time and again in sticky situations that he half rathers he wasn't in, and half enjoys the heck out of. He can maneuver well, and think on his feet, and he's always up for something new.

His aversion to risk-taking make some of these problems interesting to watch him handle, though. How does one get off a ship in a storm that threatens to pummel them down to the sea floor by sheer force of rain alone? There's flying and there's staying, and both are risky. Burhan would just grin, bare his teeth at the storm, and get himself out by calculated planning alone.
