Rhuloc

Personality: Rhuloc is an inquisitive young mirror. Much chattier than his father, and very eager to go exploring, if only for the sake of seeing more things. The other dragons find him warm and knowledgeable, especially considering his young age.

History: Rhuloc was the firstborn of Zosz and the most recent of many children of Inari. He was also the first child born into the Brewtongue clan, leading many in the clan to see him as the "little brother" figure. He grew up mostly under his father's wing, though "Auntie Oola" played a big role in his upbringing, almost moreso than his own mother.

Role In The Clan: Rhuloc spends most of his time exploring the Starfall Isles. Dinner gatherings alot a special time each night exclusively for tales of his travels. While he isn't the savviest speaker of the bunch, the others are regularly enthralled by his descriptions of the nearby landscape, and the strange creatures and personalities he discovers. He especially enjoys taking "souvenirs" of creaturs he captures... not for food, but for study. He contributes greatly to the clan's familiar collection, and spends his liesure time observing their habits.

Zosz: Rhuloc thinks the world of his father, though he wishes that his father would warm up to the others more. He doesn't understand why his father is so distant to them, or why he makes such a big deal about his son being a Mirror. Still, Rhuloc is inspired by his father's independance, and likes to try to solve problems himself before seeking his father's counsel, knowing that should he fail, his father would be proud to know that he wasn't afraid to approach a new situation.

Inari: Rhuloc never got to spend a lot of time with his mother. In some ways, he envies his father's relationship with her, because he frequently sees the two of them chatting about on a hill in the distance, far out of earshot from the rest of the group. Rhuloc tries not to bother his mother, who's almost always busy being everyone's councillor and arbiter, and while he realizes that she is a good leader, he feels that he can't approach her as her son, and not simply as another clanmate with a problem to discuss.

Oola: "Auntie" Oola had always been there for Rhuloc. She used to let him watch her as she cooked, and would even use him as her primary taste-tester. He learned to socialize primarily around the cooking pot, and met most of the other clan members through their usual ritual of inquiring "Is it done yet?" up to hours before the food was actually finished cooking. Oola always used to talk to Rhuloc about how much she always wished she could cook something that actually pleased Zosz for once. Rhuloc always reassured her that his father adored her cooking, but he never really knew for sure.

New Hatchlings: Rhuloc actually spends a lot of time with any hatchlings in the clan. He likes that he gets to feel like the elder one for a change, and likes to make sure that they get bonded with a familiar that suits their personality, and will often search for days to find a creature suitable for a particular youngling.

His Familiar: Rhuloc's first memory of Oola was when she came to him, brandishing a jar, shouting "Hey, kiddo, Look what came out of the soup!" Rhuloc stared into the jar. The amorphous blob in the jar stared back at him eagerly. They've been best friends ever since.

The Arcanist: Rhuloc is becoming increasingly intrigued by the nature of the Clan's Deity. Zosz once told his son: "I know so little about my father. Maybe some day I'll get to meet him." Rhuloc responded: "Well, If I meet him, I'll be sure to tell you all about him when I get back!". This was the first time Zosz ever cried.
