Faolan comes from a long, weary past. While he was a young, foolish yearling, he and a young Mirror dragon hatched a nest together. Faolan believed that the Mirror was his charge, and for a time, he stayed. Once their nest hatched, it became clear that they were not meant to be. One hatchling ventured into the Light territories and ended his journey there, while another briefly stayed by his side. After pleading for land and being denied, the need for his own Search pulled at him. Faolan's thoughts flared his temper, but he'd waited until the clan was safe and on it's way before he began his Search.

Now, he has found a home in the tribe. While there are few other Guardians, the others in the tribe have been nothing but welcoming to their newest addition, most of them coming from their own strange paths.
