Her vision flickered, her eyes fluttered, the enticing call of unconsciousness beckoning to her. One last time she struggled against it, not wanting to give up so easily. She did not want it to end like this. She refused to. But alas, she could not fend off the inevitable, and her frantic clawing seized, her limbs relaxed, the pain dimmed into nothing but a distant echo as everything began to be turn to gray, quickly coming to resemble the dark color that is the black of night. The last thing she saw before everything faded, was the a large figure, then she knew nothing. When Nyx awoke, she heard the birds being as lively as ever. She felt tranquil for a moment, before the memories of her last awoken thought surged forth, causing her panic and dread. Where was she? Had she been taken prisoner? Scrambling upwards, she tried to lurch forward out of the flowery hut she had found herself in, only to bring forth her earlier pain, causing her to cry out as she tumbled to the floor, a few purple petals flowing down around her. She blinked in confusion, looking upwards for the source of falling petals. She recoiled in shock as she saw bark entwined with the bodily structure that connected her frail wing membranes to her body. In fact, bark had swirled around her calf, forearm, and up her neck. She felt dread, and in her dwelling, the door swung open. |

The fact that nature had now become apart of her made her feel unnerved. Though begrudgingly she accepted it, as this odd floral magic had saved her life. It even began to make her wonder, all about magical properties. After giving herself time to heal and grieve for the lives lost at her originating clan, accompanied by the help of Eteron, which was the name of the seafoam guardian whom she had come very fond of. Nyx then began to ponder her transformation and the mysteries that fogged her vision. She became enthralled with this inquiries and questions, and wanted to pursue the answers to the unknown. With Eteron by her side, she dedicated her time to seeking out the perfect place to make a clan majorly dedicated to studies, and she found this place among the Crystalspine Reaches. She tried to persuade the Wildclaw to join her and Eteron, but she declined, claiming that she was meant to stay and continue her work in consoling the other refugees rescued from varying clans. So she began to build, build what her dreams inspired her to do. But soon Eteron was called upon to serve in the ranks for the Arcanist, leaving her behind to watch over the rising clan herself. A loneliness consumed her, and for now she does not take interest in finding a new mate anytime soon. But no matter her current mate situation, she manages to remain rather happy and pleasant, for a majority of the time. She busies herself into her work, and in spare time makes sure that everyone else is faring well and that none are ill treated. |
