Art is a magnificent way to express your emotions..

A single drop of paint. The gentle voice intertwining with the words of a blooming spell. The hues swirling into a pastel image upon the blank canvas. Magic swiftly lacing itself within the bristles of the dancing brush. A young, bright Arcane mage, letting his voice waft into open ears as he wove the intricate details of a spell into song. He knew not of what he was doing, only holding steadfast to the idea that this painting would be the key to his fame. The key to his success, to finally feeling proud of himself. As the artisan looked upon his work, he waited for something. And he waited. He frowned, a draining disappointment absorbing him. As he tried to sleep away the conflicting emotions, he was unaware of the colors morphing into a being. As the coral Imperial touched the floor, he took the paint and mingled hues with him, shimmering brilliantly in the darkened home. When the artisan found his new creation, he felt amazed, and soon taught the imp the ways of the world. Time drifted away, and Sorell followed in his creator's footsteps, and took up Nyx's offer to become the clan artisan. And now he stays, living out his days doing what brings him sparkling joy.
