Hafren
Head Librarian - "That's DOCTOR Hafren to you."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
No, not like a medical doctor. You meant that as in someone with a Ph.D...it's true that you've settled down in the carefree domain of the Windsinger, but having participated in several expeditions to the Hewn City, you can safely assert that you know your stuff.

Academia is ever-evolving and ever-tiring...you are by no means elderly, but unofficially retiring to this quaint little corner of the Cloudsong has proven incredible for your health. No more asinine superiors who treat you like an idiot, no more terrifying trips down to The Shadow Realm (ahem--Hewn City, that is), and no more endless sleepless nights racing against deadlines editing your newest paper on the recent findings of said terrifying trip! No, while the library of the Breezetune is rather lacking, it is much more peaceful, and you hope it will be much improved by the time you leave it.

You could never really kick your old work habits, though. Your assistant librarians are quite good at shooing you off to sleep when it gets late enough now, but there is much about the local Wind wildlife and culture you have learned from leisurely strolls; in place of properly peer-reviewed papers, you have taken up journaling your observations, some journals even finding their ways onto Breezetune shelves. You do kind of miss the in-depth discussions you used to have with your old peers, but nevertheless, when you see that one of your journals has been checked out, you are happy that you are still sharing knowledge.

"Hafren's an old friend! The doctor thing is a joke, but he actually did graduate from Hewnvard..."

Exalting Hafren to the service of the Windsinger will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
