A very short blurb because I am very lazy, it would be really easy to just skip this part; but at the same time putting in effort to write words here makes it look like you did so much more effort! Look! That was just two sentences and I am sure it looks like this is a very well thought out written piece here! Who am I kidding? This is filler text. I was just tired of using Lor Ipsum and needed typing practice. I mean, I could’ve used my personal filler text which I call “Philosopher Ranting” which starts with “To always reminisce,” actually I'm getting tired typing so here's my filler text starting now.

To always reminisce the misted hollow of yonder hill and glen is a pleasure of thine. For those memories lost and found is where the answers shall be sought. The stones, the wood, the streams themselves are the eternal and endless speakers of the ages. The vaunted ancestors knew, why should us too? Take to the sky! To chase, leap, and bound the star frosted eaves of the sky and chase the nevermore.

Twixt the misted turrets of the silvery dream and the hues of dawn. There shall be the endless light ever glimmering in the future, a fading dream. To seek the lonesome places where our race has never tread is thy calling. In which the hoary pines of yore and the misted woods will hold the air of silence. Every leaf, stem, and fern would hold the secret of the universe. In which thine would find the inner heart and see the multitudes fall.

The masses, oh the masses, to which thy should say “fear not thy fellow man but fear the everlasting night on the horizon. Fear not the neighbor, but the wolves hidden the shadows. Fear not the endless sleep but the eternity of existing, this is what the masses should fear.

Lore Idea: (expand later)
Lucifer is the reason the Sun rises in the Swamp everyday. He regards himself as a God, and demands to be treated as such. He isn't, but that's because he doesn't interact with others and stays away from those he considers 'below' him.

The Opulent Phoenix
Hoarder| Mercurial| Miserly

Few dragons personify the cliche of the gold-hoarding miser quite like Lucifer. Born from a long line of phoenixes, this dragon's shape-shifting form is a bird rather than a human.

He is a fine example of his subspecies -- lazy, attracted to fine things, vain and interested in little aside from wealth and status. He has something of a working relationship with Darius, but he otherwise has little taste or interest in politics that do not directly affect him.

Despite his selfish appearance, he is truly and deeply devoted to his mate, Briallen...except for the times when he has a tryst with the merchant Sekhmet, but he doesn't consider it to be cheating.

Extended Lore & Art
Opulent Phoenix wrote:
Born among the embers of the Emberglow Hearth, the ancestors of the Opulent Phoenix felt a primal call toward more distant lands. True to their namesake, they rose from the ashes and took wing toward the Beacon.

Some say that these early phoenixes sought to serve under the Lightweaver. Others say they simply wished to bask in the light and taste the salt air of eastern seaboard.

Whatever the case, once they arrived, they began to flourish. But a curious thing began to happen. Their plumage began to take on a gilded edge, hardening and gleaming like jewels. Dark streaks still touch their scales and feathers, like singe marks, as a memory of their ashy origins - but their once soft plumes now shine with the brilliance of the sun.

The Opulent Phoenixes have a special affinity for wealth and finery. Where other coatls choose warm, secure places to roost, these jewel-toned creatures are attracted to coins and treasures. You can often find them roosting among the Sunbeam Ruins, napping upon piles of hoarded gold and gem stones.
