My eyes are open, after so long. The clan was fraught with worry, but I have opened my eyes. It hurts, I see too much, far too much. My mother says I have much to learn, but I know. Lightweaver bless me, I know the trials that lay ahead. I know the pasts of my parents, the bloody silence of my mother doing what she had to do. She knows this, reminded of her guilt. She does not look at me.

With the blessing I have been given I need to write this down. Many of the clan have expected my birth and leave to bring the change I need. I am glad.
