Biography
Fluorite
"Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards."
Fluorite was the youngest child born to her two loving, but strict parents. Growing up along with 5 others siblings her parents kept a very tight leash on their whereabouts and for the most part kept them within in their own home until they were old enough to venture out. Stuck inside the walls of the home she was taught how to be a proper lady that was commanded of her. She took to the manner and culture with a sense of poise and elegance that wasn’t often seen especially when added to her natural kindness to others.
But, being stuck with only her siblings around easily led to boredom. Her parents would sometimes host parties or have entertainers over where a wide variety of music was often played. Her favorite type of music was that of the zither. She begged her parents to allow her to learn. It didn’t take them much convincing before they hired her a private tutor. After a lot of effort, time, sweet, and calluses on her claws, she could play the zither exceptionally well. Music wasn’t the only area that Fluorite took an interest in; soon after, she decided to learn the intricacies of Chinese Medicine, a field which she excelled at like few others. Those around her began to realize that she had an unquenchable thirst to learn.
When she was let out of the house she loved to see the world around her. In that world, she saw things that amazed her. Sometimes the kindness and sometimes the cruelty surprised her. Being careful of her manners she would always try to help others when the opportunity presented itself. One time, the opportunity lead to a friendship found in a Crimson Skydancer who was far from home by the name of Amber. Instantly the two clicked but two went their separate ways after Fluorite escorted the other dragon to her respective home. It wasn’t until a party, later, that the two met each other again purely by coincidence. After a bit of chatting the two figured out exactly how much they had in common, which was a lot, and became fast friends.
As soon as the party ended the two exchanged contact information and promised to meet soon after. That promise was kept and the two girls got together as soon as their schedules allowed. They would spend hours in each other’s companies talking about everything that got their fancy, whether that be fashion or gossip, or just listening to Fluorite play the zither. If you asked Amber, she would swear she could listen to it for hours on end. Should they ever get bored with that they would travel around town together. That was until the day they were attacked. Without a moment's hesitation, Fluorite leaped in front of the blade, taking the wound for herself instead. During the attack, Amber lost consciousness and when she woke up, her attackers and her dearly beloved friend Fluorite were gone.
