After losing her parents to a beast raid and her son to an illness that swept through his lair, Makenna fell into a deep depression. Starstone, Stormsinger, and Striker saw how dangerous her depression was becoming and held an intervention. With the lair still reeling from the loss of the beloved Heilyn and Seth, and Makenna’s depression exacerbating tension and instability in the lair, the three new they needed to act quickly. After a week of serious discussions, the four decided they needed a change of scene. They announced their intent to depart and after mixed farewells, they set off.
After some time travelling, they came across the lair of Menka and Tep. It was potentially a perfect fit. They needed a fresh start, and the brand new lair was still developing its dynamic. They approached and explained their situation, also bringing gifts and money as a peace offering. They were accepted and began settling physically and emotionally.
Stormsinger is a near textbook case of intelligence hindered by arrogance. He is also fairly vain. He means well, but has a tendency to talk down to others because of this. Despite this, he’s incredibly loyal to his friends and drops everything he can to support a loved one in crisis.
He is also head over heels in love with Starstone. He'd kept his feelings secret, even under duress of having 2 clutches of eggs with her, for sake of stability. However, he recently confessed to her, now that the lair is stable, in hopes they could go steady. She did not reciprocate and did not let him down gently. Since then he'd drown himself in his work to an almost unhealthy degree.
