Commodus was born with an unusual skin condition where her skin has bald patches, areas where the muscle is visible. For him it is an occassionally painful state but it is something which he has learned to live with. It makes him stronger.

As a Scavenger he roamed over Sornieth, working on his own and selling his findings to various merchants. One of them is Terra of Clan Norrsken. Now most of the traders he could fool into paying more than they want to but not Terra. He feels protective, maybe even pity, towards her. Which sparked a beautiful friendship between the two.

Terra is also the one who introduced him to Aracaryn. They quickly became friends and partners, scavenging together all over the lands. They don’t always get along, deciding what to do with their loot is often a cause for arguments or if they should attend a feast invitation. Commodus thinks that a little socializing is good business, Cary prefers smaller gatherings.
