Zillian

Zillian will forever curse his mothers for having him.

It's not that he didn't like living, and he loved his sister, but his mother knew she was a Ravaged dragon. She knew there was a chance her children could carry the genes that caused their skin to become stone like. Delladora was the lucky one, she took after their mama, having scales resembling a poison dart frog.

He cried a lot as a hatchling. His mothers would try to console him, but it didn't really help. He was in pain a lot because of his tough, stony skin that would crack and break if he wasn't careful. Zillian couldn't keep up with his energetic sister, and preferred to rest in the odd Arcane flowers when he got the chance.

The pain got better to manage as he got older, but he became pessimistic while his sister became even more enthusiastic. While she ran around and practiced her magic, he studied the local flora and planted flowers around the clan's cave. If there was one thing he got from his mama, it was his love for flowers. It was a gentle pastime, just right for him.

One day, Zillian got the idea to travel. The clan had seen quite a few travelers come and go, and he wanted to try it out for himself. Maybe he could even learn more about the flora in other areas. Delladora was quick to follow him, and the siblings traveled together for quite some time. They eventually parted ways, and Zillian set out to find somewhere to belong.

Drawn, as always, to the kind faces of flowers and greenery, Zillian decided to make his slow way to the Viridian Labyrinth. He'd heard such amazing tales of the Everbloom Gardens and seen the bright tropical flowers brought by travelers from there, and he had to see it for himself. (WIP)
